Coat Pegs
Coat pegs are surface-mounted hardware pieces to hang coats, hats, or robes.
The pegs differ from coat hooks because there are no prongs on a coat peg. Instead, the peg either extends straight out from the surface or has a slight upward angle.
Coat pegs differ from coat knobs because the peg doesn't have the enlarged end of a coat knob. However, a peg that extends straight out usually has a scoop or cut to make it easier to hook your jacket on the peg or to give a coat hanger an index point.
Some folks prefer their coat pegs lined up in a row and mounted on a back panel. If that's your preference, you might want to review our wall coat hook racks.
