Magnuson Coat Rack DSF-5HA - 60" - Free Standing - Single Side - Hanger Rod - Aluminum Shelf

Magnuson's DSF-5HA is the 60" wide hanger-rod version of a series of single-sided standing coat racks.  The "A" series of coat racks use a shelf made of aluminum with a clear anodized finish instead of powder coated steel.

Some folks like the look of the aluminum shelf, but if you prefer a powder coated version which uses steel for the shelf and the same finish as the uprights, please see the DSF-5H.

In either case, the coat hanger rod is composed of 1" diameter stainless steel.

All coat racks in the DSF series are available in Medium Gray, Sandstone, or Black frame finishes.

These come with glides, but if you choose, you may add rolling casters as an upgrade.

If this is a bit wider than you need, you may prefer the 36" or 48" wide versions.

The image is of a 48" unit and is intended to illustrate the design rather than exact scale.

Please note: This 60" version is at the limit of free standing coat racks without additional brackets.  If you choose this size, it should not be overloaded or the hanger rod may bow slightly.  It's not going to break, but it may deflect if overloaded.  It's something that can happen with all 60" wide free standing coat racks that use hanger rods.  It's not a flaw, it's physics.  The recommended capacity is 5 coats per foot.  Our policy is to tell you everything about a product, no surprises, because our objective is for you to get what best serves your purpose.  If your intent is to load this down as much as you can, please choose a wall mounted coat rack with brackets.
