Magnuson Rolling Coat Rack DDF-5H-CBA60 - 60 Inch - Double Sided - Hanger Rods

Sometimes you need a coat rack right here and other times it would be much more useful over there. If that's what you need, you may like these double-sided rolling coat racks from Magnuson's DDF series.

This is the DDF-5H-CBA60, the 60" version of the DDF with a mobility package added. If 60" is a bit larger than you need, you might prefer the 36" or 48" versions. 

Please note: This 60" version is at the limit of free standing coat racks without additional brackets.  If you choose this size, it should not be overloaded or the hanger rod may bow slightly.  It's not going to break, but it may deflect if overloaded.  It's something that can happen with all 60" wide free standing coat racks that use hanger rods.  It's not a flaw, it's physics.  The recommended capacity is 5 coats per foot.  Our policy is to tell you everything about a product, even the things that may not be advantageous to making the sale.  The objective is for you to get what best serves your purpose.  If your intent is to load this down as much as you can, please choose a wall mounted coat rack with brackets.

The DDF series has a steel frame and shelf, powder coated in your choice of Black, Gray, or Sandstone. You may choose for the steel painted shelf to instead be aluminum with a clear anodized finish, for an upcharge. The stainless steel hanger rods are 1" in diameter.

The mobility package consists of double-wheel locking casters, bottom spacer bar, and shock braces.  The bottom spacer bar and shock braces aren't needed with glides, since a stationary coat rack won't be rolling across parking lots and down hallways, bumping into curbs and thresholds.  Rolling coat racks are nice but if you don't need easy mobility, you might prefer the DDF-5H.  It uses glides instead of casters and has no bottom spacer bar or shock braces, so it costs less.

Magnuson designed these coat racks for commercial spaces, where sometimes folks don't treat furniture and fixtures with the care they deserve. Overall, the DDF units are tough coat racks, designed to endure decades of tough treatment.

Coat hangers are not included and are sold separately.
