Description

Peter Pepper's 2147-AL Sliding Coat Hook Rack has 6 double-prong coat hooks on an anodized aluminum bar.  The locations of the coat hooks are movable on the bar.  Each hook can either be fixed in place with the supplied set screws or left loose to slide along the bar.  The rack itself is wall-mounted with two end brackets.  The overall width of the rack is 32" so it fits the width of drywall studs perfectly.

Peter Pepper makes several other coat racks with sliding coat hooks.  All the sliding coat hook racks have the same base design and the same 32" width but differ in the style and number of sliding coat hooks.  This 2147 has 6 coat hooks.  The 2148-AL also uses 6 coat hooks but with a single-prong design.  The 2149-AL has 5 triple-prong hooks while the 2150-AL uses 5 double-prong side-by-side coat hooks.  If you want more storage space for hats, gloves, scarves and such, you can add a hat shelf to the 2150 and that makes it into the 2155-AL model.

To maintain design continuity throughout the building, some designers like to use single coat hooks that match the ones on the building's coat racks.  The double-prong hooks on this 2147 are matched with Peter Pepper's 2079-AL hooks.  If you prefer your double-prong coat hooks in a side-by-side design, you may prefer the 2077-AL.  If a triple-prong would be more appropriate, please have a look at the 2078-AL Coat Hook.
