Peter Pepper 4808 Wall Mounted Folding Express Desk - Tackboard - Shelf - 30" Wide

This is the 4808 Express Desk from Peter Pepper. This folding desk includes not just a large 28" wide x 20" deep work surface, but also a 9" tackboard, a pen shelf, a chart pocket, and a laminate surface for those who prefer sticky notes.

The 4808 has just about every standard feature one might want on a wall-mounted desk, with the exception of self-closing.  Don't worry.  The self-closing 4808-D is the same desk with that additional feature.

If you need a work surface but space is tight, these wall-mounted desks may be a good solution.  The desk is out of the way until you grab the handle and pull down the front.  It opens into a work surface measuring 28" wide by 20" deep with a 30 pound capacity.

The work surface itself is a laminate with a Soft White finish.  Plastic retainers in the back hold files or supplies upright and out of the way.

The cabinet's side panels and handle are available in your choice of 27 colors or 7 wood finishes.

The exterior door front (the work surface bottom, when open) is available in 3 laminate finishes. 

The 9" tackboard in the 4808 can be either Peter Pepper Color Cork or one of 24 standard fabrics.  You can also use a COM, but this will add to the production time and your material must be approved by the factory.

Need to lock up?  You can add the optional combination lock with key. 

If you've been reviewing the various Express Desk models, you might note that this unit doesn't have the option to add a chart drop slot.  That's because of the internal layout of the cabinet with the addition of the pen shelf and separator between the tackboard and laminate note surface.

Like all the features but you'd still prefer the desk to close itself when you remove the weight from the work surface?  Have a look at the self-closing 4808-D Express Desk.  A few more features than you really need?  You might prefer the basic 4800 Express Desk, smaller and simpler.  If these still don't quite fit your needs, there are a number of other Express Desks with a variety of options.
